Vessel "Capital"
Dear Sir, 27 Oct 1859
Be so good as to direct that as much of the property
as possible be secured - and state hereon the name of
the parties from Withernsea who have misbehaved
as reported - I have received the parcel with Books &
papers and have apprized the Collector of Customs
at Goole -. no doubt but that some one from that
place interested in the Vessel will soon be at Kilnsea
I will thank you to report further on this paper

Vessel "Capital"
Dear Sir 27 Oct 1859
I have received your report respecting the loss of the Vessel "Capital" of
Goole and that the body of a young woman had
been found on the shore.
I have reported the circumstance to Goole, and
no doubt but that some one from that place
interested in the Vessel _ will soon be at Withernsea
and Kilnsea. Very Truly yours

Vessel "Capital" Conduct of "Milne" C. Guard Officer.
Sir 29 Oct 1859
I beg to acquaint you that Richd Nightingale of
Withernsea - mentioned in your letter of the 27th Inst
and also in your preceding letter on the subject of
the Wreck of the Sloop "Capital" of Goole on the 25th
Instant. called on me this morning.
Besides informing me - that he - and others - had
some of the materials of the said Vessel stored in a
building at Withernsea belonging to Burrill Kirkwood
which I directed him to deliver into the Custody
of the proper Officer he informed me that _ on
the night of Wednesday - the 26' Instant - Milne
the Coast Guard Boatsman in charge of the district
