Mr Flucker, Holmpton.
Sir, 16th Novbr 1858.
Mr. James Mason has been with me
to day about the piece of Keelson at Spurn which
you say you sold for 15 s/ Mr Mason says he apprized
you that it was part of the "Commerce" and belonged
to his party. --- You should therefore have stayed
selling it till you had written to me - the only
thing now to be done is, if Mr Mason's account is
correct, to return the 15 s/ and let him settle, through
you, with the men who hauled it on shore. -
