As I am about to report, favorably
upon the claims of Sir C. Constable
to Wreck in the Manor of Holderness
I shall feel obliged if You will
inform me of the sea limits of
that Manor

This boundry includes the whole of
the parish of Burniston, -
The Dyke or Beck is a short distance
south of Graysthorpe "See" Bryants Map
of the East Riding of Yorkshire 1824
1828" and "Lewis" Topography 1845"
From the said Dyke or Beck the
limits extend South to Spurn point
including the whole of the Coast
except from the Northern Boundry
of Hornsea, - which adjoins
Atwick, - south to where the waters
of Hornsea Mere are discharged
into the Sea by a Stream from
that Mere an extent of about
two miles, - the manor of which
is claimed by Mr Bethell of
Rise, - See my letter to the Board
of Trade dated 4th January Inst
Holderness then extended from
Spurn Point, - up the Humber
to the River Hull, -
The whole can be traced on
Bryants Map before mentioned
