I have made arrangement for the
sale of the anchors &c within mentioned
to take place immediately after the
7th proximo I have also sold some
small articles of wreck that came on
shore at different parts of the district
during the time the late Mr Stephenson
was Receiver of Wreck. - I therefore, as
my Duties of wreck Receiver did not
commence till the 1st October last -
request to be informed with reference
to the former general wreck act,
- 9 & 10 Vic C99 - whether I am to account
for the proceeds of sale of such anchors
& wreck - to the Receiver General of
wreck under that act - or to you JS
