Having now sold certain articles
of Wreck in this district - as advised
by my letter of to days date. I beg
reference to your order of the 18th February
last- returned the following day -
directing me not to deliver goods or money
to Lords of Manors without Special
Instructions from you - And request
your directions on my several letters
on that subject. J.S.

no 545 Registered the 14th day of February 1856.

To the Receiver of Wreck. Custom House Hull.
In the account current for the Quarter
ended 31st December last, the sum of 19/7 is charged
for postage- a daily account is required
by the Audit Office for this charge. The
proportion of Postages and charges of this
Nature must be deducted from the
proceeds of sale of Wreck for which they
have been incurred and when the
property is delivered the Receiver must
claim re-imbursement from the
Owner. The Receiver is instructed to
dispose of all Wreck in his possession
under the respective value of £5 as
directed in paragraphs 45 and 46 of his
