Assistant Engineer - In the Seige and Storm of Badajoz 29 March to 6 April 1812. Assistant Engineer - In the Seige of Burgos 27 September to 4 October 1812. Assistant Engineer - In Holland and Netherlands February 1814 to June 1815. In the Seige of Assar Ghur repulsed a night attack with the (?) 17 March 1819. In the Deckan wth His Highness the Nizans Troop in Defeat of a (Predatory?) Force 11 December 1830. Note - During the instances above stated 'noticed' by distinguished (officers?) In Command. Letters from them with other record are in the hands of Lieutenant Neville.
Severely - In the head and leg at Badajoz while employed as Assistant Engineer placing ladders for Major General Sir George Walkers Brigade to escalade the battalion of St Vincent on 8 April 1812. Severely - Throught the left shoulder when employed as Assistant Engineer with the 24th Regiment in the storm of the (?) of works of the Castle of Burgos on th 4 October 1812. One years pay only asked for and received as a Lieutenant.
The Freedon of the City of Dublin for Badajoz and Burgos conferred 16 July 1813. Waterloo Medal. Tile of Merit granted by His Highness the Nizan for the capture of a (Predatory?) Force in the Deckan 11 December 1830.
