We saw a sail and shortly after we saw

a whale and lowered the boats and Mr
Jones boat got fast and we soon killed
and got it along side of the ship and
cut it in. AM saw another whale

24 hours Commences with pleasant
weather. We saw several whale
and chased them. AM saw a whale and
Mr Jones and Mr Fordham boats lowered
and Mr Fordhams boat got fast and
they soon killed it and got it along
side of the ship. We spoke the
Ship Jones of new London ?boat
Master with 13 whale.

employed in stowing the oil down.
