These 24 hours Commences with pleasant
and Breeze. At Day light called all
hands and finished ?trying and stowing
down the oil. Saw a whale and got it.

24 hours Commences with pleasant
weather and saw ?plenty of whale
and lowered and Mr Fordham
boat got fast and killed it
and got it along side and cut it
in.
