I have the honor to forward for approval the following papers relative to contracts made August 14 with Chas F. Brown to build a Light Keepers dwelling at Cape Foulweather, Oregon.

Articles of Agreement. Bonds & Oaths Quadruplicate
Specifications " (quadruplicate)
Bids one copy
Letter addressed to parties asking them to bid " (one copy)

Messrs. Bain & Braden sent to me verbal messages that the location was too distant for them to bid.

Plans. exact duplicates of those for Cape Disappointment, Light Keepers dwelling, will be mailed as soon as they can be prepared.
