I have noticed a strange feature of this mod 37.
Striking the "prefix" key seems to suppress printing of the
members of a certain class of characters until a character not of the
class is struck, whose printing is also suppressed, after which
the printing mechanism returns to normal. The characters suppressed
completely are:

[string of characters. angle brackets suppressed if typed out]

and tab, return, line space, null, space and back space.
The state of the "shift" key seems to have no effect on the class
of character.
