So the three great branches of science are
Heurospude, Taxospude, and Prattospude.
I have drawn up an a very elaborate classification
of the Practical Sciences; but I shall
not take up time with any account of
that. I have not never yet attempted any
classification of the Sciences of Review. But
it is Heurospude, or Pure Science, which
concerns us. Now pure science, as it now exists, happens to have has three
grand divisions. There is Idioscopy, or the
Special Sciences, such as Sociology, Astronomy,
and the like, the great business
of which is to discover and study hitherto
