1964. Tues. Shopped at New Westm. Very warm. Cut out dresses for girls. Mary & I did doublecrostics.

1965. Wed. downtown & bought chesterfield etc. To Hugh's for dinner & babysat. Lovely weather. Postal strike still on.

1966. Thu. Packed. Betty E. to see us off. Left at 11, very hot. lunch at Woodland, Shasta Lake, Dunsmuir Motel at Weed, right under Mt. Shasta. piney smell.

1967. Fri. had my hair done. Cooler. Lorraine called up. Read & knitted. Wrote letters.

1968. Sun. Shopped for essentials. Sat in park & children played on swings. To Hugh's for dinner, got chicken etc. Very happy family reunion
