1964. Sun. Lovely weather. Walked to mail box. Reading The Great Hunger.

1965. Mon. Read galley proof & took it doun to Macm. Postmen on strike. To Locke library.

1966. Tues. Betty & girls came for lunch. To San Jose to see Janet & family. Played dominoes. Mary & girls to motel.

1967. Wed. To dentist - teeth cleaned. Plane tickets came. To Beulah's for dinner - very good time. warm.

1968. Fri. Worked in Victoria & Emmanuel libraries on bibliography. Shopped & to library. Lovely weather.
