1964. Fri. Heliconian Club Literature Luncheon. Ashley took me to dinner at Bea's & Mary's, Alex & Easterbrooks there. Lovely.

1965. Sat. All to Malvern, climbed to British Camp, to Ledbury, lunch at Wellington Inn. Wonderful drives.

1966. Sun. Made lasagna & choc. pudding. Lorraine, Hugh & Paul came. Walk to library. Back with them in evening.

1967. Mon. Cold. Shopped, scrubbed bathroom floor & polished silver. Tom Sharpe, Margaret & Helen & Marie Umson here for tea. Spoke at business women at church.

1968. Wed. dull & windy. Bathroom painted pink by Mr. Vasila. Shopped & read nursing articles in City Hall library. Reading "Tolstoy".
