Worked in Parliament library. Went to [National] Gallery, lunch and dinner with Covert and Demarais. Evening with Angus L. at Johnson's.

Read and knitted and wrote letters. Anne out. Harold and I to tea at Grace and Doug Mackenzie's.

Tues.
Snowing. Went to see Dr. Lawson. To bank. To lunch with Anne playing basketball at Hart House.

1953
Shopped downtown for Xmas. Cool and bright. Hugh drove Lois and me down to symphony. Sibelius symphony no.5 . Very fine
