Had inlay put in tooth. Luella and Cynthia here for lunch. Hugh went to Guelph. Harold came from Ottawa.

Baked pumpkin pies. Hugh came home.

Sun.
Anne and Hugh met me. Harold and I to big tea at President Smith's. Very tired. Anne Brady here in evening.

1952
Piles of letters and masses of flowers came. Read letters and cut clipping. Anne and Hugh to classes in p.m. and Fred drove Donald to station to go to London. Went to bed early. Many flowers came.

1953
Wed.
Mild and raining. To Lawblaw's, cars on street stopped for 2 minutes silence, Typed notes in " Fur Trade." Hugh out.
