To shop. Typed on novel. Made curtains for my room.

Had my hair done. Shopped and sent overseas parcels. Wrote to Donald. Anne had coffee party here and went to dance.

1951
Sat
To "light house", stores, bookstores, bus ride, [United Nations] building and saw Time Square at night and in library. Wonderful day. Train home.

1952
Mon.
Donald, Ed and I to cemetery to choose lot. Don Creighton came, many telegrams, then Harold's family - 15 for lunch. Service in convocation Hall at 3. Very beautiful.Classes cancelled. Ferguson's, Anne Beyanson etc. here. Ed left.

1953
Warm and mild. Worked at Reference library. Lunch with Harriet Parsons at Eaton's College street. Downtown and got gifts for Hugh and Brucie.
