Went to Wanamaker's. Long drive around [Philadelphia], with Anne and Miriam. Harold left for home. I to New York.

Don Creighton here, President Smith, Lil and farm people came. Ed and Fred from Chicago, Clarke's, Mary and George, Ferguson, [Waine's], [Easterbrook], Jack Sword, [Falaideau], many telegrams.

Mon.
Washed. Finnish girl cleaned house.I to bank and post office. Worked on bibliography and notes. Hugh out for dinner.
