To Humanities Conference. Anne and Hugh to rugby game. Anne off for weekend. George T. and Art [Lower] here in evening.

Washed. Lovely weather. Talked to Mrs. Culnan. Went to Village and saw grace Mackenzie. Art [Lower] called up. Mary Ferguson sent " Neville Cardus."

Hugh and I shopped in vast new Loblaws at Bathurst. Worked on Turnor's Diary. Raining. Anne and I to " Sleeping Beauty" - Sadler's wells Ballet at maple leaf garden
