Thanksgiving Day. Roasted chicken, Warden Adams of all souls here for dinner. Very warm, sat in garden, Hugh came home.

1950
Tues.
To museum, Mary and I for our first class in " Design in Decorative Arts." Ella Martin on Renaissance. Had tea after. Very good.

1951
Wed.
To library, bank and postal station. Hugh at University all day. Heard concert on radio. Finished Ann's blouse.

1952
Fri.
To shop and library. Made cranberry relish etc. Wendy and Donald came for weekend. Harold very quiet. Letter from George V.

1953
Sat.
Ann to London to Western game. Hugh waxes floor - out all afternoon. Made 2 batches quince jam. Cut out smoke, cleaned rugs.
