Washed. To Northways to get my dress. Harold and I to dinner in[ Quest] Hall for Marquis of Salisbury. Crowd there and lovely dinner.

1950
Tues.
Raining.Made 7 jars grape jelly. Shopped. much cooler.

1951
Wed.
plaster put up pantry ceiling. Had my hair done, wrote letters. Very warm. Anne to wiener roast at Hanlan's.

1952
Tues.
Donald and I shopped for weekend. Cool. Anne and Hugh out. Harold weak and quiet. Worked on index.

1953
At 5 a.m. bathroom ceiling fell. Hugh and I cleaned up. To library and met Luella. Typed article. Joan Butterfield here for dinner. Anne and Hugh to Hart House.
