Baked pies, fruit bread and cookies. Rained. Helped Anne clean her closet. Hugh and I to library.

Anne washed. She and Hugh registered. Harold had bad day. Letter from Mary. Anne and Hugh out.

Jane ward here and she and I worked all day on offprints and [manuscript.] Lunch for her. Mr. Buckerfield here re investments. To village. Anne and Hugh got back.
