Harold operated on. Very Miserable. I went to see him 3 times and got his mail. Mary, Wendy and Donald came back late. Anne in tournament.

Anne playing in tournament. Anne, Mary [Williamson] and I to lunch in evening. Very cool.

I to lunch with Mary. Tanton and Jo perfect. Very warm. Anne home early. Donald phoned from Maryland. Bad night.

Shopped downtown and to Reference library. Wendy here for dinner. Donald to [Executive.] Hugh out.
