Cold and rain. Shopped. Mary out to lunch, Anne at movie. Reading Burton " Anatomy of Meloncholy."

Thurs.
Donald gave me a driving lesson. Anne and Fred at tennis club. Mary's trunk came - lovely gifts for us all. They to movies.

Fri.
Hugh and I shopped. To Dr. Mc [Donald] to have eyes checked. Plumber took down pantry ceiling. Very cool. Made fire in dinning room.

Sun. Cool. Nurses away. Moved furniture back in sun porch. Don Creighton here. Wrote letters. Dr. Hilliard came.

Labour Day. washed, Donald cut grass. Violent hail storm, lawn all wite. Hugh, Donald and Wendy to movies.
