Labour Day. Children playing tennis. Made fire and toasted marshmallow. Ros Harley here for lunch.

Had my hair done. Got more peaches. Anne at tennis. Cooler. Reading Horace Walpole's letters.

Cool, D. Creighton and Jerry here. Anne sewing. Donald came back from London, got apartment.

Fri.
Fred, Anne and Donald played golf at St. Andrews. Very hot - 92 o. Fred left for home. Donald and I to see pictures of Europe at uncle Rudolph's. Rain at night.
