Mary and Harold to Otterville. Cleaned house. Gillian Cartwright came to stay with Anne. Very hot. To underhills for dinner, [Parkinsurs.]

Shopped, sewed on green dress.Letter from Mary from Greenock. Children to Davis Cup match and to exhibition show.

Sun.
Talked to Donald and all of us played recorders, flute, clarinet etc. Mary Williamson came in. I wrote letters. Dr. Hilliard came.

Tues.
Donald and I shopped. Sam with them to exhibition. Warm. Harold better but very weak. Lil phoned.

1953
Wed.
Parkers packed and took arctic library. Wrote letters and article on [Associated Country Women of the World.] Rugs to cleaner. Anne and Hugh out. Very hot.
