Mary on boat ride. Went to see Mary Liz Aitken at Windermere and had lunch there. Perfect weather.

Mon.
Washed. Anne passed driving test. Very cool. Anne drove me to store and bank.

1951
Tues.
Ironed. Hugh and I went shopping. Worked on script. Phil fixed lawnmower.

1952
Thurs.
Day nurse came. Dr. Spooner gave glucose intravenously. Bad day but cooler.

1953
Fri.
Donald and I shopped. Lil came to supper and she and I to [Associated Country Women of the World] pageant " Dominion of Desting." Anne at tennis. Al Cairns here for supper.
