Washed, played croquet, Mary swam, saw Hugh off to masquerade at Royal Museum as a pirate.

Wed.
Donald drove me to University library. [crossed over ] to [crossed over]. Ironed. Very warm.

Thurs.
Harold, Anne, Sam, Hugh and I to art gallery to see Hapsburg paintings, tapestries and gold and silver work-wonderful. Reading catalogue at home.
1952
Sat.
Very hot and stuffy. Harold very sick and miserable all day. Rain all day.
1953
Sun.
Anne, Donald and I to Gibson lake, picnic lunch, out in canoe to see gibes nest, picked water lilies. Mrs. Graham, Sheila and Wendy and Wendy I here for tea.
