Very hot. To village. Mary, Rose, Laura Duff and I to Movie - " You can't take it with you." Very good. Had sodas.

Off early in car to Creighton for lunch. Anne drove some. Lovely trip. On to Dadson's. Went to store, saw Peter's Finger.

Sun.
Wrote letters and read gide. Anne at tennis. She had friends here in evening. Very warm.

Very hot. Donald and I to get electric fan and shop. Talked to Harold. Donald at dentist.

Wed.
Barbara Smith came. Mary out with girls. Lovely weather. Blue and deep purple hydrangeas.
