Very hot. Hugh and girls here. Letter from Donald. New dressing put on incision.

Anne at tennis. Lunch with Dell Kemp at Arcadian Court and to Editorial [Committee], Young Women's Christian Association. Hugh wrote trig.

Fri.
Bright. Anne has 2 French exams. Had my hair done, to library and shopped.

1952
Sun.
Very warm. Anne washed. Donald and children played croguet and played flute and recorders. Harold and all in garden. Cake and ice cream for Father;s day.

Mon.
Anne washed. Donald came and we went to bank and shopped. We worked on " Cod Fisheries" and talked. Lovely weather.
