To post office. Rain. Oppening sessions, saw many people. Ate at chateau, took walk and wrote letter.

Tues.
Had my hair done. Anne playing tennis at church. Went to see " Facts of Love."

1951
Wed.
Had lunch for Luella - Alice M, Betty E, etc. 6 in all. Went off very well. To Heliconian dinner, very good. Warm. Lovely lilacs.

1952
Fri.
With Harold. They took X- rays. Lunch with George Britnell. Got strawberries. Wrote notes. M. Kirkwood came to see me. To bank.

Sat.
Very heavy rain. Anne shopped. I sewed, typed and wrote letters. Anne and Hugh out.
