To Mr. Bell with dummy. Very warm. Anne to 6th form picnic. Harrold came home at 11.

Sat.
baked pies. Men washed windows and put tp screens. I went to movie " The Browning Version." Letters from Mary and Donald.

Mon.
Took lilacs down to [Harold]. Read him letters. Came home shopping and got dinner. Hugh worked first day at Eaton's. Anne at tennis in evening.

Tues.
Hugh's day off. To bank and shopped. Anne, Hugh and I to see " Henry V." Rain.
