Anne playing tennis. Hugh to Lake Simco, Made my blue dress, planted seed etc. Mary working.

1950
Wed.
Warm. Read galley proof and quarterly.Anne on bicycle hike. Hugh working at home. Sat in garden.

1951
Thur.
All 4 left early for farm. Lilacs all in full bloom. Country very pretty. Had lunch by little lake. Went to see each family, got supper on way home. Very nice trip.

1952
Sat.
Heavy rain all day. With Harold. Anne and Hugh came down for lunch. I came home and got supper. Both children out in evening.

1953
Sun.
Mary has a 6lb. boy. I talked to Mrs. Cotes on phone. Sorted papers. Anne came back late.
