Washed, lovely weather. Mary out, went to store, Hugh in bed with cold on chest.

Shopped and saw " Third Man" very good. Heavy rain. To club at Doris Taylor's.

1951
Wed.
Mary and I had lunch at Hotel Georgia and to art gallery.Took a walk and saw lovely garden. Bruce took us to dinner at Hotel Vancouver. To see Treffreys.

1952
Bob Coats to see Harold. I spent day with him. Read many letters, talked. Anne good dinner. Anne and Hugh brot me home. We miss Mary and baby.

1953
Very warm. All to art gallery to see " Les Fauves" pictures. Shopped. Anne and Hugh out. Donald sorting cooks.
