Rain, Hugh and I to see "Louisiana Story" at the Odeon. Good but dullish. Letter from Donald.

Baked cookies, to bank, took Van Gogh picture to frame. Anne, Hugh and I to see " all the King's Men."

Thurs.
Donald and I to Berkley Rose Garden. All streets with beautiful gardens and views of Bay - huge climbing roses.

Sat.
Mary to hospital in afternoon. Heavenly weather. Writing notes and many phone calls. [Tannis Choun] here in the evening.

Sun.
I to church. Cooler. Anne and Hugh studying. Raining. Very restful day.
