Washed. To village for groceries. Hugh started school. Very tired.

Shopped and made big salad. To Young Women publicity luncheo, very nice. Jo and I worked on quarterly afterward.

1951
Donald and I to [San Francisco] saw giant model of [California], to Macy's, City of Pais, walked up market street. Rode on cable car. Met Windy and Lloyd and thru Chinatown to dinner Fairmont, and to top of the Mark Nob Hill.

1952
I kept baby in afternoon and Mary to see Harold. Jerry phoned from Princeton. Many letters. Miss [Thursfield] from [Kidderminster] here.

1953
Rain all day. Luella and Don to Barrie for weekend. I wrote letters and 2 scripts. Anne and Hugh studying.
