Fri. Shopped at village. Cool and bright. Anne playing tennis. Harold and I to tea at Women's Union for Indian and Chinese students.

Sat.
Anne colored egs. Fred drove us to to Brookfield zoo. Met Wendy and Donald. Cold. Anne saw giraffe etc. Dinner at Sam Pedro and party with Wards, Mildred, Eislers, Symon's. Lovely time.

Sun.
To church in evening. Hugh left. Car had puncture. Mild and wet. Wrote letters.

Tues.
Harold down to lecture. To bank and shopped. Cold and dull.

1953
Wed.
Lovely weather. To succession Duties and Parliament building and got car license at last. Anne took car out. Creighton's out. Hugh and Anne hard at work.
