Harold and I to reception at Royal York for President and Mme Auriol of France.
Many Mounties and Champagne . Hugh came home. Letter from Mary.

Sun. Snow and rain, very dreary weather. Anne cooked dinner. Sewed in Harold's room, Anne playing piano.

Anne washed and ironed. I to library and shopped. Mild and dull. Hugh at home studying. Creighton's out for dinner.
