Wrote letters and read. Hugh left in evening, Anne and I took him down. Cold and dull.

Baked pie. To Editorial meeting quarterly. Raining. Hugh and Anne working hard. Jane Ward here.

To lunch with Irene Clarke at Granite Club. Lovely weather. Shopped. Heard " Murder in the Cathedral" on CBC.
