Very deep snow. Baked 11doz. cookies, and Anne baked 180. Cleaning house for big tea.

To village, snowing and cold. Heard "Aida". Harold and Mr. Covert here for tea.

Worked on New France for book. Heard symphony. Drove Hugh to bus. Mary and I sorted her pictures, letters, etc.

Windy and cold. Talked to Donald. He to University. Anne worked late at library.

Wed.
Downtown shopping and to Round Room to lunch with Elizabeth Long. Wrote letters, Anne out.
