Washed. To bank and store. Wrote to Donald and Mary. 11 o below zero. Waited on Hugh. Anne took lunch.

Tue.
Mary and I downtown. Got various things. Raining and mild. Took[ Mss.] for Quarterly to Mr. Bell. He to retire.

1952
Downtown shopping. Sam and Mark came. Snowing hard. To symphony and heard Stokowsky conduct. Very fine.

1953
Fri.
Luella and I to Heliconian literature's section lunch on detective writers. Very nice time. Got my new glasses and Hugh got his.
