Baked fruitcake and Anne baked cookies. Poured at big tea at President Smith's. Harold back at midnight from Ottawa.

1950
Ann skiing at summit.Harold back to Ottawa. Hugh in bed with cold.

1951
Went to bank. Raining and foggy all day. Bridesmaids dresses came.

1952
Had my hair done. To library and shopped. Jane [Waid] here to take dictation.

1953
Hugh and I to village, got piltes of provisions. Mild. Sewed and wrote on book. Anne here for dinner, then she and Hugh out.
