Washed, worked on notes and sewed. To Ruth Tait's for club, read " Dark Lady of the Sonnets", and I spoke on encouraging arts.

To optician and got my new bifocals. Sewed on my dressing gown.

Mary and I shopped and to library. Heavy snow. Wrote to Donald. Rewrote script
" Mary Carpenter"

1952
Sat.
Baked pumpkin pies.
To lunch at Diana Sweets with W. H. Clark, Robertson and Boggs. Hugh and Anne out for dinner. Mild.

Mon.
Mary and I to lunch at Phyllis's. Very nice. I went on to tea with Lucy and lef Mc Killop. Max Cameron came to see me in evening. Hemmed yellow curtains.
