Sudden snow storm. To University library and then to Committee on Culture. Book review given. Harold out for dinner.

Poured at tea at [Jeannette's.] Snow and rain. Brown's drove us home. Girls and Hugh out.

Much colder. Harold and I to Mc Dougalls for tea. Gladys C. there.Hugh went back to Mc [Master]

Mon.
Anne washed. I polished silver. Quarterly [committee] met here. Much colder. Strike still on.
1953
Wed.
Had my hair done. Walked with Mary and Boby. Wrote letters. Mary and I baked cookies. Bruce late making calls.
