Went downtown shopping for Anne's birthday. Hugh and I had tea. Harold and Mary out for dinner and evening.

1950
Shopped and to library. Cut out aprons and blouse for Anne.

1951
Fixed up house, got flowers etc. Tea for all department, Dawson's gusts of honor 50-60 here. Secretaries sent me corsax. very nice.

1952
Wrote letters. Anne and I to church in evening. Reading [Gerrard's] "guide"

1953
Tues.
Mary and I to lunch with Von Sabistan at Terminal City Club. Bruce took and me to dinner " Monty's Spare Ribs." Wonderful dinner. Drive afterward.
