Anne and I washed. Anne and I to vote. Warm, drizzle and dense fog. Dinner with Creighton's at Murray and to Brown's reception, then here.

Typed broadcast. Anne playing badminton. To lunch with Enid [McQueen] and Lois Thomas - vert nice. Heard symphony on radio. Hugh left.

Ann playing badminton. Heard " messiah" on radio. Mild and melting. Wrote letters.

To bank and met Bea Cassidy for lunch. Anne and I to [Williamson's] for tea. Anne and Hugh both out. Donald Creighton here in evening
