Snowing and very cold. Mary had party - showed pictures from trip abroad.Very good. [Anne] skiing.

Sun.
Mild and raining. Hugh had several boys here. Alex Brady here in evening. Wrote letters. Hugh to midnight movie.

Mon.
Mild and sunny. Hugh made pancakes, Anne washed. I worked on broadcast. Anne played tennis at church.

1952
Tues.
Colder. Wrote on script, Anne got dinner. Sewed and listened to radio. Harold and I to Le Bourdais' - Very nice time.

1953
Mild. Anne got dinner. Anne, Hugh and I to movie to see " Where Charlie?"
Walked home. Anne and I sewed on her tartan skirt and played.
