38TH CANADIAN INFANTRY BATTALION OPERATION ORDER NO. 43.

REFERENCE MAP - 51-B, 1/40,000.

1. The 38th Canadian Infantry Battalion will move from present
billets to billets in the Village of WAILLY, today.

2. ROUTE. WANCOURT - NEUVILLE VITASSE & MERCATEL.

3. TRANSPORT. First Line Transport will accompany the Battalion.

4. STARTING POINT. WANCOURT TOWER in N.24.d.05.05.

5. ORDER OF MARCH. Headquarters, "A", "B", "C" and "D" Companies.
Headquarters to pass the Starting Point at 9.30 a.m. One hundred
yards distance will be maintained between PLATOONS, and SPECIAL
ATTENTION PAID TO MARCH DISCIPLINE.

6. LEWIS GUNS. Lewis Guns will be loaded on limbers under
the supervision of a Company N.C.O. by 8.00 a.m.

7. OFFICERS' MESS EQUIPMENT - ORDERLY ROOM SUPPLIES - MEDICAL
OFFICER'S CART. To be loaded and ready to move off by 8.30 a.m.

8. SICK PARADE. Sick Parade at 7.30 a.m.

9. THE NOON MEAL will be served en route.

10. DRESS. Steel helmets will be carried on the left shoulder.

11. WATER TINS. All water tins in the area to be piled on a dump
alongside the road, at the Starting Point by 8.30 a.m.
