"B" Company, right front line Company: C Company left front line Company: "D" Coy left
support Company. During the day considerable enemy shelling in immediate vicinity of ECURIE
WOOD CAMP in a vain attempt to bring down our observation balloon near-by. Weather fine and RBO'S
very warm.

IN THE LINE do 20 Our aircraft active over enemy back areas. Occasional
FAMPOUX section front line. Enemy balloon damaged and forced to descend. One casualty, No 219277 Pte Palmer
on the Scarpe killed. RBO'S
