Front Line OPPY SECTION April 14 cont
they were quiet. Reconnaisance work was carried out by
two parties, one with an N.C.O. and one sniper, & the other
with one scout officer and 3 OR.
Weather:- very cold in the morning, fair through the day
but with poor visibility. RBO'S

do 15 Defensive patrols covered our front during the preceding
night from 8 p.m. to 2.00 am. Hostile artillery was
more active than usual during the early part of the night.
Hostile movement, evidently a relief, was detected, our
artillery notified & numberous casualties to the enemy
resulted. Brigade Orders of this date contained the
following -
574 - Honours and awards.
The undermentioned decorations have been awarded.
